The objective of the course is both the improvement of language competence and the common construction of knowledge, fostering an active role of the student in learning.
Dynamic and interactive classes, based on collaborative learning and focused on the practice of linguistic and sociocultural contents, through conversation, group work and presentations that participants will make about their universities.
The course will not only focus on the teaching of Spanish, it will also address aspects of Spain such as its culture, gastronomy, higher education system, economy and customs.
The course includes: 18 hours of lecture (morning), coffee breaks, a trip to Segovia (World Heritage City, UNESCO), meetings with UVa staff, cultural visits (old city of Valladolid, National Museum of Sculpture and Contemporary Art Museum, tapas night and the tasting of typical Spanish gastronomy.
Location: The course is held in the Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad de Valladolid, Campus Miguel Delibes, Paseo de Belén 13, 47011 Valladolid. Location map
Level test: Participants must take an Online level test before the start of the course. The Centre shall provide the access information.
