Schedule: 15 hours/week, mornings, Monday to Friday.
Classes between 9:30 and 13:50 h.

Description of the course
This course is designed for students who wish to improve their Spanish and gain an understanding of the culture of Spanish society. The language lessons are participative and are aimed at putting grammar into practice, extending vocabulary, and developing oral and written skills.
Lessons in culture afford students the opportunity to get to know and understand the way of life, customs and traditions of Spanish society and, in general, what the country is like. Students can also supplement their learning by taking part in optional socio-cultural activities and by going on trips (outside of teaching hours, and included in the course fees).
Place: The course is held in the Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad de Valladolid, Campus Miguel Delibes, Paseo de Belén 13, 47011 Valladolid. Location map

Content
Spanish Language: Grammatical, lexical, and functional content, and developing the various skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
Spanish Culture: Designed to provide an insight into the lifestyle and culture of Spain as well as its customs, traditions, and products.
→ Classes last 60 minutes.

Level test: Participants must take an Online level test before the start of the course. The Centre shall provide the access information.
Orientation session: Students participate in an orientation session and a guided tour of the city on the first da of the course.
Assessment and certificate: At the end of the course, students are awarded a certificate of attendance. In order to be awarded the certificate of attendance, students must attend at least 80% of the lessons. In addition, if students pass the various tests set during the course, they will also be awarded a certificate of attainment listing the marks and grades obtained in each subject.
