Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera, DELE
The University of Valladolid Language Centre cooperates with the Cervantes Institute in conducting the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) examination.
These diplomas are official qualifications accrediting levels of proficiency of the Spanish language. They are issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain.
There are six Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language. The table below sets out the various levels and their equivalence with the levels proposed by the Council of Europe in the Common European Framework of Reference and the DELE:
